Posted: 11/20/13 at 6:19pmI purchased hiptix tickets for a play in the American Airlines Theater but realized I purchased the wrong date. I already picked up the tickets, but can I give them to someone else under 35? Will they check for the ID of the purchaser on the date of the show?

Posted: 11/20/13 at 6:21pmThat's weird. I've always picked up my Hiptix at the box office the day of the show and they check IDs then. If you've already gotten the tickets they won't check it again when the person goes to enter.

Posted: 11/20/13 at 6:22pmYour friend should be fine. They only check for ID when a person is picking up the tickets, not when they are scanning the tickets for entry to the theater.
