I'd love to see Jon Hamm do an Encores concert version of "Nick & Nora". It's not a great show but I think it could be ok for a concert version.
If not, perhaps a movie where he plays Nick Charles?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
"Johnny Depp is planning to play Nick Charles in a Rob Marshall movie."
I was hoping that idea didn't see the light of day. He's not a good choice.

Don't forget, Hamm participated in Roundabout's reading of The Philadelphia Story alongside Scarlett Johansson and John Krasinski, directed by Alex Timbers. The production was supposed to open this fall, but got pushed to next year. Let's hope it opens next year and with that cast!
He played Czolgosz in Assassins and Cliff in Cabaret at Mizzou, but the director cut or rearranged all of Cliff's songs and solos because Hamm couldn't sing it well. He let him sing The Gun Song and Czolgoscz's solos because he thought Hamm's gritty and off-key voice worked well, and he acted the songs well.
