I feel like one person saying what he did and not recommending his show to their friends won't make a difference. Especially when that person is so selfish and unable to see the real picture in this. That they probably don't have many friends :p

We may not know you, but you invited us in to your "problem". So if he had signed for you, what could you have said to boost sales for the show -- SINCE YOU DIDN'T SEE IT. What kind of a recommendation could you possibly have given it?
Stage Door experiences are not blackmail material.
Of COURSE your friends tell you he was wrong -- they are your friends. My daughter gets upset when she doesn't get a solo: after all, all her friends told her she sounded great at auditions.

They can sign whatever they want to.
Same with Zachary.
You are just upset because you wanted his autograph. But he has rules, and you weren't following them.
Actors don't have to come out and sign at all.
It's not him that's being rude or mean, it's you who are expecting too much.

No one said what ANY of them did was wrong. YOU are the one passing judgement. He has every right to sign or not sign, as does every other person that walks out the door.
Just like, you didn't HAVE to let those you didn't know sign, either. There are classy ways to say no, thank you. I'm pretty sure none of them would have wrestled you so they could sign.
I don't care to stage door, but my daughter loves to. Neither my son or I have ever had to submit to an unwanted autograph. Pretty simple, actually.

I don't stage door ever but it would piss me off if someone like you just went along the streets going to ever stage door expecting to get something signed for shows you haven't even seen. Do you just walk around with different paraphernalia in hopes that someone will sign it for you and then what? Do you turn around and sell it or just put it up in a shrine and jerk off to it?
No one cares if you don't recommend a show you've NEVER SEEN based on some personal experience. You probably frame it differently to your idiot friends that don't know any better.

Another thought...I doubt this is the case, but some actors are obligated to only sign for paying customers because of contracts they may have signed with outside of a specific function or other groups. "Chuck" was quite the hit among the comic-con and convention circuit. He may have some strange rule held over this head that he can't sign unless someone has paid to come see him at such events. I don't know.
In the end, no one is obligated to sign for anyone or anything. I had a bizarre encounter with Neil Patrick Harris at a suburban Michigan grocery store over Labor Day. He was very pleasant and gracious with everyone who came up to him and signed something if you asked, but he politely told people he wouldn't take pictures. Moral of the story? No one owes anyone anything, no matter if you paid to see them or if you're both shopping for diet coke before traveling to visit family. If you get an autograph or picture, it's incredibly considerate of the actor. If they decline, the reason they gave is the reason you take. And you got a reason. He could have just as easily said no and walked away.

I went for Krysta and Quinto because I respect the tv work they do.
it's not my fault I have not seen many positive reviews for first date and The Glass Menagerie is not my type of show that I want to see.

You're a horrible fan that I don't think Krysta needs. You're "threatening" to tell people not to see a show you didn't see because the star you didn't care about beforehand didn't give you five minutes, even though the star you did care about (because of other projects) did.

Then why did you even start this thread if you don't care about him? If you respect Krysta because of her TV work (which in and of itself is a joke because Smash) then you should respect her enough not to dissuade people from seeing the show she's in. I hope the show does well for krysta I have been telling people how sweet she is. The show won't fail because of one person.
I just don't think Levi is a big enough star to act like this. If it was like Tom Hanks I could understand it.

Which is it? Do you want to show to do well or not? Also, just a guess but you must be under 30, right? Zachary Levi is doing a favor for his paying customers, as it were, by going above and beyond already with spending so much time signing autographs and taking pictures. Why on Earth should he have to do the same for people who aren't even paying?
You can whine "oh one autograph is two seconds" all you want, if you don't make rules for how you spend your time, you end up with a hundred autographs for random people. Every person in the world budgets their time. Because everyone's time is THEIR OWN, and you don't freaking own it.

Do you also wander into hotels, head for the meeting room areas, grab left over danishes off the breakfast trays outside the room and act insulted when the hotel staff tells you to get lost?
