Topol came on board at the very last minute to replace Joey Pants who dropped out with apparently little notice. In a sea of so-so, lukewarm reviews, the one consistent was how good Topol was. It really sucks that it appears he's not being given the chance to transfer with the show to Broadway. And it's not even to bring aboard a big name which Scolari certainly is not.
yeah very disappointed to see Topol wont be continuing on, he was FANTASTIC, but considering he came on at the last minute he probably had a commitment that kept him from continuing on with it to broadway.
