Just WOW. While I agree with Ichabod's statement about the amendment--I can not imagine living with the mindset that I can't watch a show (and even need to protest) when a character expresses an opinion I disagree with.

Exactly, Eric. There is a "discussion" on the Sleepy Hollow IMDB page on the issue. Someone pointed out that it was a FICTIONAL character expressing a PERSONAL opinion.

I'll have to check out the imdb forum. If I had to agree with the main characters of every tv show (movie, play, book...) that I enjoyed, I would be left with nothing interesting. On the other hand, this does make me feel less guilty than ever at stereotyping gun enthusiasts as complete nutters.

And the scariest thing about them?

They're armed.

I know that if I ever go to a movie in the US I will never text during the commercials before a film. (I would never text *during* the film anyway, but...)

The thing is these people don't see it as a character voicing the opinion, it's the WRITERS who are "pushing" their anti-gun agenda.

Just saw another comment about that exchange in Vessel. The poster plans to exercise her first amendment rights and tell people not to watch the show. After reading these comments and responses, I finally had to say something, and pointed out that the writers were doing what she planned to do -- exercise their right to speak freely.

A sneak peak from Monday's episode:

I laughed out loud at this clip. Tom Mison, you are just like a ten-year-old, and just as adorable.

I enjoyed that clip so much that I just went back and watched LOST IN AUSTEN for a while. Mison is Mr. Bingley (and blond) in that movie, but the voice is there. Long dark hair suits him much better - and he looks thinner in SLEEPY HOLLOW. Thin enough to wear devil jeans...

The dark shirt and "devil's trouser" (to quote what Tom said on Kelly/Michael) really emphasized how thin Mr. Mison is. People have been recommending "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" to me because of Tom. I'll get to it one of these days.

Screen Spy has given us some teasers for Monday's finale; maybe a bit spoilerish, but it's certainly got my mind going in all directions.

BTW I think the program starts at 8 instead of 9 because of the two hour time frame.

Enjoy!!! I can't watch until tomorrow, so I'll check in on Wednesday.

This is going to be difficult for me because that finale was IN-SANE!!! I actually don't know how I can wait until next season. There were so many reveals, so many WTF moments and so many of the characters are in a really bad place.

And the biggest surprise (for me) was so beautifully set up and yet I didn't see it coming! Not enough cliffs for all those hangers! well done, SLEEPY HOLLOW team. There are going to be zillions of people catching up with this season before the start of season two. WHat an amazing couple of days with SHERLOCK starting last night, and SLEEPY HOLLOW finale tonight.

And Tom Mison: "You are not as good a listener as Yolanda." (or words to that effect)

Fabulous season finale! I thought the first hour was a bit restrained, but the last half hour was one twist after another. Well played, SH!! I never suspected a thing!

I agree. The first hour seemed a little slow (uncharacteristic of this series) but then, fasten your seat belts for the last 45 minutes.

I haven't seen it yet (can't wait to get home to watch!), but I've been reading about it! Sounds like it was an amazing finale!

Now I wish I had the entire season recorded so I could go back and watch for the 'clues'...

I bought the first season through Amazon Video. I've got it downloaded onto my laptop, so I have it wherever I go.

I need to go back and see the episodes with Henry Parrish, starting with "The Sin Eater". What clues did I miss???

I remember him being reluctant to help Abbie when she was trying to find him, and Henry wasn't interested in saving Crane...

Wonkit, I think the phrase was "Yolanda was a better listener."

...I am not sure all the "clues" added up. I still loved the finale, but. (I admit my one disappointment was that I had guessed he was their son about mid-way through the second half, which may have been when we were meant to.)

Welcome to the club, Taryn! Eric, what makes you think we were meant to figure out who Henry really was midway through?
