It's a communal seating, so you won't be sitting alone if that's what you're worried about.

For those complaining about the ticket price, there is a special discount all this weekend for $29 at Broadway Offers. Just sayin'.

I just saw that. Can I go to the box office with that? (Is there one?) I'd rather not pay the fees since I'm in the neighborhood.

I just walked past the tent, and construction guys are all over, hard at work getting it ready. I can't believe there's a performance tonight! I hope they're ready for tomorrow's matinee, which I'm attending. (It's all about me.)

I just saw the $29 deal on Facebook. What a great price!

The first time the cast got to rehearse in the new space was their dress rehearsal this afternoon. I'm sure the show will be ready and will go on! It's a wonderful and unique piece of theater with a fabulous cast!

My friends and I really enjoyed the show in its new space Saturday afternoon. Everything is impeccably done: the costumes, the tent space, the lighting, the food, the music. The singing and acting are just great. I really have to hand it to the cast and crew, who pulled it all together. The show flowed very well, and there were no tech problems that I noticed. An understudy went on as Anatole. As far as food, we were given free appetizers, consisting of a small portion of borscht (delicious), crudite, dark rolls with butter, pierogies. Drinks and meals were available off the menu. The service was very good, and everyone seemed very friendly and welcoming. I liked, too, that we weren't crowded in. There were a couple of tables free, but generally the performance was well attended. A wonderful and unique show, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again later on.

I saw it last night with the $29 deal. I ordered tickets online, and it came to about $40 with fees, which is still a lot better than $125. It was my first time seeing the show. I thought it was really well done and very innovated. The space was used very well. The performers were excellent. Just a head's up to anyone with strobe light sensitivities: there's a scene with very heavy strobe lighting. I'm generally fine with strobe lighting used in theatre, but this was too intense for me. Aside from that, great night!

The understudy for Anatole is Azudi Onyejekwe. He is otherwise in the ensemble. He is a very talented actor/singer/dancer/songwriter. He went to college with my kid at NYU/Tisch/CAP21 and I saw him as The Leading Player in Pippin there and he was great.

That's who we got too. He is unquestionably talented, but I thought he did not fit the part at all (not because of his race). Strange casting.

Enter: The inevitable "Does this show have a Playbill?"

I'd love to see the artwork! NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET to Move to Tent on 45th

I was at yesterday's matinee and loved it, except for the understudy. He is clearly talented, but all wrong for the part.

It's not an actual Playbill brand, and it's just regular paper. Tell you the truth, I didn't think the program was as well executed as the rest of the production. Artwork on the cover is blurry. Maybe that was by design, I don't know. Good content inside, though, including a diagram showing how the characters are related.

I got there tonight at 6:15 for a rush ticket and they still had some left. I was seated at the bar and right before the show I was told I could move to the empty seat at the table right near me. The bar just gets the borscht and perogie, the tables get the few other appetizers.

The seat I had moved to ended up being an audience participation seat. Helene had me get up to give Natasha the letter. Pretty cool. Plus other stuff like being given a guitar to hold that was picked up by someone else a few seconds later, and Natasha and Mary sitting at my table.

Also, Neil Patrick Harris was there! I went up to him when he was alone in the lobby at intermission and chatted quickly with him, told him I'm looking forward to Hedwig, though he didn't want to take a picture. It was probably wrong of me to ask.

And near the end David Abeles fell off the stage as he was walking when the lights were dark. I hope he is okay!

So it was a pretty eventful night, amazing show!

Yes, it was wrong of you to ask him for a picture. This isn't the stage door, and he isn't doing an autograph session. He was just there to enjoy a performance, have a little tact next time. Ugh.

I saw the matinee performance today and loved it. It's a great space and the music is perfection. I think Lucas Steele is out with some huge injury or something because no one on here seems to have seen him perform the role of Anatole. Josh Canfield has taken over as the understudy and he is amazing. He looks and sounds exactly like Neil Patrick Harris but this guy has an incredibly strong voice. Great show, worth the ticket prices!
