The story didn't sound especially intriguing but I added the show to my subscription just because of Mary Louise Parker.

And now this casting news is just, well, incredible.

I would say that Burstein netting a Supporting Actor Tony nom for this is very, very possible. Clark is possible, but Burstein's role is very baity.

As Irving Berlin said, "There's no geese like snow geese."
No good can possibly come from using this vast wasteland of error and deliberate deceit. You should get off of it and warn others away. You should make sure your children and grandchildren know what a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution it truly is.

This is extremely exciting! I was already thrilled to see Parker, but seeing her alongside Burstein and Clark will be incredible!

It's the world premiere of a new play. How could there be buzz?
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

With regard to rehearsals, et al. I'm fully aware it's a world premiere. Was looking for some 'inside scoop' as things progress. We blink, and previews are underway in a couple weeks. :)

It's quite funny that Victoria Clark is away from Cinderella for a few months to do this play and that Danny Burstein's wife Rebecca Luker is replacing Clark. I wonder if it was strategically planned?
