I love the poster art for the show. I wonder who illustrated it.

I just learned of Ms. Harris' passing. I immediately thought that for her, Broadway must be dimming it's lights for at least a full week.

I remember all the actors in Broadway: The Golden Age, talking about seeing the incredible Laurette Taylor and thinking how sad it was that her performances were never caught on film for us to see. Thank the Lord that we will have many of Ms. Harris' performances to see again and again. They had Laurette Taylor - but WE had Julie Harris!

As many times as I've come to New York to see the theatre, it was the Smithsonian Institution that gave me the opportunity to meet and talk with two of my all-time favorite theatre legends - Jerry Orbach and Julie Harris. I will forever be grateful to them for those wonderful memories!

I have watched "The Member of the Wedding" many times and marveled at her performance in that film. "The Gin Game" might be my earliest stage memory of Ms. Harris.

She will be sadly missed-truly a legendary actress.

Her work was a gift - to we who were able to experience it. RIP dear lady.
