Yesterday, I started a similar thread and it got deleted. Not completely sure why. Perhaps it was a technical issue. Or, perhaps it was how I placed the link.

Anyway... Broadway Boosters is a new social media Broadway site. I thought it might be of interest to the community here.

Wow. Could that link provide LESS information? (Not your issue, Art)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Well, I didn't want to violate any rules here. Perhaps, the moderator(s) thought this was a competing site and didn't want it advertised here. Not sure.

What I can tell you, is that it hooks up to your various social media accounts and rewards you for sharing your Broadway posts. I would have ignored this, but its from Telecharge and it is my hope that the rewards might be substantial. Don't know though.

Oh, is this what Telecharge is putting its energy into instead of fixing the god-awful redesigned ticketing site? Great.

Although I agree that the perfect ticketing UI doesn't exist, yet. I think any program that supports the theater - particularly Broadway - is good news.

What do people think of this new service? Any chance of success? I think Telecharge should announce more clearly the rewards program.

Oh, good. More useless stuff for people to share on Facebook.

It seems that Telecharge heard me - and perhaps many other people, too. On the site they have just announced that they will be defining the "rewards" on 8/21. Lets see if this will be worth anything.

It seems that the Broadway Booster program has made it to the BroadwayWorld headlines. Cool. I am not much for social media, but I think its great that Broadway is getting some social media attention.
