...He fires an employee on the spot for simply taking action/candid photos of a conference call in progress, which will be used on the employer's website, and the abrupt firing is caught on a phone call with 1,000+ employees.

For any one who operates in a similar workplace, I'm sure you will cringe at this. Such disregard for employees leaves a bad taste in my mouth, which is why I'm sharing it here and one reason why I now work for myself as an independent consultant.

I'm glad you don't have to be an intern on BWW!

This is typical in the workplace these days. Nobody has any class anymore. Emotional intelligence has gone right out the window.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Diva, I squealed a tiny bit at that. LOL

Yes, Goth. It's sad that this has become the norm. I wouldn't be surprised if the employee fights it.

^^^^

I know, RIGHT?

Someone gave me their email address yesterday and when it ended in @aol.com, I literally did a double take.

Their response to me was, "Yea, I know..."

Aside from the fact that AOL is a dinosaur, their CEO is a completely classless jerk. I'm glad that audio went public.
