Bump. Wondering whether it's worth trying, assuming rush if offered. Does anyone know?

Try emailing the producers..they're really helpful and hands on.
We were there Sunday and the doors weren't open when they should have been. This guy who identified himself as a producer apologised and rushed round to another entrance to sort things out. They were also pretty quick emailing new tickets and making contact when the 7 and 2 Sunday performances were compressed into one at 12.30. Mind you, another producer (I think!) inside wasn't too impressed when we said we'd enjoyed the Menier's Pippin. From reading the programme it looks like he's a producer on the current Broadway version!
The show wasn't full..and on a table for 10 there were 5 of us with enough food to feed a (Russian) army! They seemed to have sorted out service problems and the servers were not at all pushy. A lot went to waste so it would have seemed sensible to get some ticket income.
The show itself, both musically and in its staging was superb. Really would like a full cast recording soon please!!!
I wouldn't worry about where you end up sitting. I did wonder how they were ever going to make money with the food and free (initial) drink. I can see why they're trying to creep the admission price up. We had great discount tickets which now don't seem to be available, but if you can manage it the $125 regular admission is still pretty good value.

What the balls does that have to do with rush, abitoftap?

First line and then hopefully some helpful comments about the show.
Not sure why I appear to have offended so much, but there you go!!!

Clearly you didn't offend me but you offered no help. I'm not sure why the producers want some random person emailing them asking about rush tickets. And if you're going to offer that as a recommendation you don't give the OP any sort of email address. Seems like you interjected what you thought would be a "helpful" response just to expound on your experience at the show.

I'm really hoping they announce some sort of rush, I don't know how else I'd get to see it. I'd be fine paying like $20 and not getting food, the show itself is what I'm interested in.

In looking for an email address for the producers, I spotted some info on the show's website indicating that as of now, no rush--student or general--is being offered. I don't know whether that's up to date, but am assuming it is. Thanks for all the other bits of info, all.

I'm pretty sure if you can email them they will make an exception.

I'm with Travis on this one. Can't pay those kind of prices (especially for off-Broadway) and really don't need the Russian food. Hoping as the run continues that more affordable options will surface...

I wish Pippin offered a buffet.

On Broadwaybox they had a discount for performances up to June 9th. I am coming to NYC in late July, so I have been keeping an eye on this to see if a new discount comes out, but it looks like the code even for performances through June 9th has been taken down. Anyone have any info if a new discount code will be released?

Last Friday they posted a link to a printable voucher on their Facebook page for a 20% discount to the upcoming weekend’s performances. So, if you want to “like” their page, you may find another last-minute offer there. But I believe the offer said to print the ticket and present it at the box-office when you arrived, so I don’t know what that means if a show is sold-out when you get there.

Ohmygod, $49?!? Why don't they offer one where you get like, one Russian dumpling and you can peek at the show through a hole in the tent for twenty bucks?

Found the code 1812VID on the description for this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p5EoaQ-aLw

When I insert the code to get “Natasha” tickets, the code is accepted and there comes up an option of “Nick Davis” tickets, but they are still full price. Does anyone know if there are any benefits to the “Nick Davis Tickets”?

Then spend more money on food. This story takes place BEFORE the Russian revolution so maybe you just have to let go of your entitlement issues or not see the effing show.

Can anyone who's rush this so far tell me how the line's been. How early would you recommend getting there in order to get a ticket?

I just noticed this thread title is off by 100 years...

Travis - I've done the online rush and logged on right at 10 am and got tickets. Not sure about the rush at the box office.
