There hasn't been a recent thread regarding the top MT schools. Since my D will be applying soon, I'd appreciate if anyone would care to share their experiences and knowledge. Thanks so much!

The best MT program for your daughter will be what's best for her. Decide on if she wants a small conservatory, a liberal arts college, or one that is housed on a traditional college campus with sports and Greek life.

I just posted a listing here (Broadway World) that was previously listed on CC, of course there is always tons of heated debate on how to define "Top", "Best", etc. This list is based on a numerical, but limited criteria, i.e. recent Broadway alums.

And define "recent". It's constantly ressurrected -- and not that much changs from year to year.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
