Theatre Minor Question

Hi there! So I plan on going back to school in the fall of 2014 to start to finish my B.A. in Business Admin. I am thinking about Minoring in Theatre for the heck of it. My question is as a theatre minor do you learn more of the technical aspects of theatre like production and the business side. Or do you learn more of the performance side. Or is it different in which ever school program you go to. I am hopeing to learn more of the business side. So is it even wise to minor in theatre if it is focused on the performance part? I don't really know haha guess I got to do more research on the schools I plan on applying to.

It really is different at every school. However, many schools have separate theatre performance and theatre studies programs. From what I understand, theatre studies programs cover just about everything that's not performing, but you should look into the program at the schools you're interested in.
