Come see "Cabaret" at Middletown High School South, April 11th, 12th, and 13th at 7PM!

Based off of Christopher Isherwood's "Goodbye to Berlin" Cabaret is a musical story written by Joe Masteroff. Set in Berlin in the 1930’s, the Nazi party is gaining power in a city where love, dance and music are mixed in the Kit Kat Club, a magical place where the young English girl Sally Bowles performs and meets American writer, Clifford Bradshaw, with whom she forges a close relationship. Meanwhile, Clifford's elderly landlord, Fraulein Schneider, gets engaged to a Jewish greengrocer, Herr Schultz – not an easy decision given the increasing influence of the Nazis. Come see our beautiful lives, beautiful ladies, and even our beautiful orchestra at MHSS's production of "Cabaret"!

You'll see many well known numbers such as "Mein Herr", "Wilkommen", "Cabaret", and "Money", as well as some other "Perfectly Marvelous" songs such as "Married" and "What Would You Do?"
