I had a hope that they would put Dog Eats Dog in as a bonus track. Darn.

There we go! So looking forward to picking this up. I loved the way the film handled "Lovely Ladies," "Fantine's Arrest," and "Do You Hear the People Sing?" And being the Eponine fangirl that I am, I'm a sucker for any version of "A Little Fall of Rain."

I'm sure that no one other than me really cares, but I hope and pray that the first track is not so abridged as the version on the highlights CD. I really miss the lines like, "I know, she'll wait, I know she'll be true."

Nope, I missed that part too. Someone shared a copy of the highlights CD with me, and when it jumped in the song and skipped those lines, I was "Wha..?" It really is the little moments of Les Miz that work, as weird as that may sound.

I missed that part of Look Down as well! It was such a weird edit, and I have no idea why they did it.

And yeah, the Suddenly Reprise is in the film.

The reprise of SUDDENLY -- that happened when Valjean was trying to lift the trunk and showing failing strength...and then they showed Cosette singing to Marius about her disappointment that her Papa had left abruptly. Quite a poignant moment and makes the original lyrics of Suddenly evocative!

One of my favorite scenes in the movie was the FINALE/EPILOGUE. It looks like they are featuring the whole scene ( now 8'25") compared to what was featured in the Highlights album ( 6'20")?

Maybe include the entire scene with Valjean, including the reprise of Bring Him Home?

^I am hoping that as well. I missed that part on the Highlights album. Ugh, darn them and their editing down for that album,

THE BEGINNING OF LOOK DOWN IS NOT EXTENDED! WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

At least it isn't according to that preview. Still the same cut on the highlights album.

I'm pissed. I bought the highlights at Best Buy for $11.99 before they even announced the deluxe soundtrack would be released.

THE BEGINNING OF LOOK DOWN IS NOT EXTENDED! WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

If it has a 3 min 17 second run time, it is extended. They may have put up the wrong preview...

It is probably album only because it is a preorder. If people have already purchased the highlights version from iTunes, they have a "Complete My Album" option where you pay a discounted price for the rest of the album which I. This case would be the new 22 tracks.

I don't think the "complete my album" feature will allow any discounted buying for this since the highlights album will be viewed as a distinctly separate album from the full soundtrack.
