How about if we let the 18 shows that haven't yet started performances start, as well as the 3 that are rumored to start performances that haven't yet, plus any others that still might be coming before Tony cutoff before starting on this speculation? What would be the point of doing it now?

I like her. I really like her.

(But yes, can we wait for everything to open so we can actually SEE the performances?)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It's definitely Raul's year.

I'm going with Once for best musical.

I think Ireland will win but Krum will catch the snitch.

Look for an upset in Best Direction of a Musical: Michael Haneke to win for "Amour."

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

theatergeek3, I know. It was a joke. And it actually closed 2 years ago, or 21 months and 4 days ago if we want to be specific.

I like how, in theatergeek's mind, Wonderland is not eligible because it closed, but Once, which won last year, could totally win again.

Why bother confusing the predictions with the actual facts of having seen the show. Much more fun to run on conjecture!
