I'm going to the opening night of Cat on a hot tin roof, i'm all the way up in row A of the rear mezzanine. Does everyone still dress up for a broadway opening night? And if so even the people sitting up in the rear mezzanine who bought the discount tickets, like myself.
Suit is fine, you can even get away with nice jeans, shirt & tie. Maybe add a vest.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Thanks, that is what I was leaning towards, so if any of you are going tomorrow night and see a dandy looking chap in row A of the rear mezz, that wont be me but it will be my friend from work and I will be sitting next to him.
