Ok, this answer is a bit vague and generalized, but it still answers your question. Looking over the cast list, there is no alternate listed. Ralphie has a standby. Therefore, the principal actor (Rabe) goes on for every performance, unless announced prior to the performance and you see that little white slip of death as I once heard someone refer to it as. There is no set schedule for when the Stand by would go on. So likely you would see Rabe at any performance unless he is sick, has some family emergency, other previous engagement (although that would be known well before the actual date of the missed performance), or other such circumstances.

Actually booth, you would be mistaken, but that is due to a strange decision in the cast bios listing.

In the bios, Joe West is listed as "Ralphie Standby", but in the show's Playbill, the cast (in order of appearance) lists "Ralphie..... Johnny Rabe" with "Ralphie (at certain performances)..... Joe West" as well as listing him as the understudy.

If you also search for the press release, it was announced that Rabe would be the principal Ralphie, but that West would perform at some performances.

Because the show is a holiday run and the schedule varies a bit each week, you would be hard pressed to know the boys' schedule unless you were to attain the information from the stage manager.
