So, I heard from a friend that works there that they're going to start offering student rush. Half Hour before curtain. Half-priced tickets. Only singles available, meaning if the show is sold-out you might not be able to sit together.
Yes, for select performances and while supplies last. Tickets are half price and available at the box office 30 minutes prior to show time. Cash only. There is a limit of 2 tickets per valid college or high school ID, which must be presented upon purchase. First come, first served. (The food and beverage minimum still applies.)"
I don't know if there's a way to find out in advance which shows are "select performances."

That's my guess, too, but it's not clear. I hope you're right!

Hi guys! Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was just wondering, has anyone done student rush at 54 Below recently? If so, how was your experience? What time did you arrive to the venue, and where were your seats? Thanks a lot!

Fair point but I think if they genuinely want more young people, the hesitation is not the cost of tickets (which can be cheaply had for many shows that don't feature Brian Stokes Mitchell or Lea Salonga) but the minimum. Most people don't want to have dinner or drinks that have to add up to $25+ per person at 9:30 or 11:30 at night.
