He was one of my favorites. Best known as Chief Inspector in the Pink Panther movies, I loved his work at Hammer and him in GAMBIT.He did lots of smaller roles and was just one of the those actors who could do anything. Plus, I LOVED his voice.

Posted: 9/27/12 at 11:46amI really liked his Phantom but then again, I am a true lover of Hammer films from the 60's and 70's. Herbert was such an underrated actor, IMO.
