This was a popular joke on my twitter feed during the speech:
Who says our first lady does not believe in the right to bare arms?
Lawrence O'Donnell mentioned this speech (and I remember watching an older clip of Hillary at the DNC in 1996 that seemed to do the same exact thing) could move her toward the direction of political office. I am pretty sure he was not the only one who thought that let alone speak about it last night.
Here is her full speech if anyone is interested. I thought it was great and whatever anyone else's opinion is on this thread. I felt it was honest and heartfelt.
God, the comments on that article you posted, Joe. "These people never struggled in their lives!!!!!" Aaaaaand then they go and vote for the guy with the car elevator.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
My BFF married an African-American man, and her mixed-race daughter ("The best accessory a person can have!!!!"--Edina Monsoon) is my God-daughter.
I am so grateful to Michelle Obama for being such an amazing role-model for this little girl that I love like a daughter. Strong, beautiful, smart, proud, stylish (!!!!) she is truly extraordinary.
You think, what do you want?
You think, make a decision...
