Posted: 5/9/12 at 3:29pmI just texted my mom (who had a HARD time when I came out and with whom I had a bit of a strained relationship for years) and said that the president just came out in support of marriage equality. She responded with, "YAY!!!!" That meant more to me that what Obama said.

I vowed I wasn't going to donate any money to any presidential campaigns ever again. I dunno. I guess today would be a day to do it.
Last week I attended a reading of "8: The Play" starring Gavin Creel and there was a great talk-back that included the director of Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (the original, meaningful GLAD) and he was saying we have to contribute to help out in Maine, too. I guess today might be a good day to do that, too.
