I thought it was utterly forgettable. I'm sorry I paid extra for the 3D. I know it's been four whole days so the audiences have dwindled and the sold out hysteria has died down, but many of Robert Downey's snarks didn't even land in the theater I saw it in.
I saw this tonight, Cabin in the Woods on Saturday and Chimpanzee on Friday. None of them were bad, exactly, but each one was completely forgettable. This is why I sometimes go a year without seeing a movie.
I know I should have gone to see "This is Not a Movie," but I convinced myself the other movies would be more "fun."
LOVED this movie! the movie just soars at a great pace... some great character moments and interactions... as mentioned Hulk smashing Loki was awesome... but him just punching Thor after they take down that creature was just as hilarious!
I saw it on Monday night because I figured a school night might have less kids. Bzzz, wrong. The audience was so loud that I missed bits of dialogue. I have no idea what the Hulk said after beating the crap out of Loki.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
Thanks for clearing that up, Namo, that's an awesome thing to say

Eris- unless I missed something Hulk doesn't speak. He grunts and he smirks.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail
-Into the Fire
Scarlet Pimpernel
I thought he said something about "Gods" but there was such a ruckus that I couldn't make it out.

After looking online it seems like he said "Puny God". Which makes sense since his "saying" has always been "Puny Humans"
