the AMC website posted an ad for the season 2 dvd/bd set and inadvertently let a MASSIVE spoiler slip out.

Hate to be THAT person but those who read the comics have been eagerly waiting for that event to happen. Hopefully it is the done in the same fashion as the comics.

Well the way the first six episodes happened and deviated from the comics with some characters added who never existed and certain sub-plots added, it was definitely not a guarantee it was going to happen.

Who knows if this was Darabont's plan or Mazzara's plan. Be interesting if people were on different pages of the show's direction.

I have not read the comic book, but I saw that one coming. And anyone who has been watching the show, the SPOILER is exactly what you think it is. Not that hard to figure out.
