The new revised version of Carrie opened to some strange reviews ranging from negative to mixed to positive. An improvement of course over the reviews from 88. The Times were still not a fan though it was not a complete negative, more of a it's OK but lacking. However publications like Newsday raved where as many were mixed.

Lets just hope they release the damn rights now

What ever happens to the off Broadway show now, wouldn't make sense for the owners to hold onto the rights, the show is in the public domain now with warts as well, amateur and fringe theatre can be very good at getting rid of warts.
