Well I know 3 people who have already gotten their offerss/accepted, and have announced via twitter/facebook/official websites that they will be in the show.
2 of them being elders, and 1 of them being a very important female role
Now all I see are cute boys with short haircuts in a maze of their own...
I can't imagine any cast being as good as the original (was in NY last June and had the good fortune of seeing BOM), but am so excited to see it again in Toronto.
There's an Equity call in Chicago coming up (for the second national tour, which is apparently going to launch there). What I find very curious is that Rory O'Malley's name is listed next to Elder McKinley, which may just be a mistake, since all the leads very publicly renewed for another year. Or is it?
No surprise that the 2nd tour will kick off with now "open-ended" Chicago run.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
The tour dates are really coming along, too. I wouldn't be surprised if after it plays Chicago, it heads over to Toronto for a few months.

BOM is being marketed here in Chicago as an extended sit-down in the vein of Jersey Boys and Wicked. I'm assuming that if it catches on (and from the word of mouth I've heard, everyone here seems to want tickets), they will create a "Chicago Cast" and send the 2nd National Tour off to Toronto in April of 2013 (as was done with Wicked a few years back).
