I was wondering if anyone has rushed Hugh Jackman since they changed the student rush policy from the lottery to first-come first-served when the box office opens.

1. What's the best time to line up in order to secure a ticket?
2. Does anyone know how many tickets are given (so that if I see X # of people already in line, I wont bother waiting around).

Thanks!

I'm glad you started a thread about this, because I had the same questions. I asked it in a slightly related thread a few days ago, which I linked below because it has a little bit of information that could be helpful to you, but it'll be good to get more recent info as well.
Here's the thread...

I was at the box office last week and a student in front of me inquired and was told the show had few seats left and there is no rush anymore. The final performance is January 1. I believe.

anyone know what the policy is with SRO for this show??

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

anyone know what the policy is with SRO for this show??

On Monday they start selling the SRO for all of that week's shows (ie I bought one this morning for a show later this week). Or at least that was the policy last week and this morning.

Thank you everyone for the info.

While I just missed out on student rush yesterday for the matinee, I was able to get two standing room tickets just now at 12:30pm. If anyone is in the area, they still had standing room tickets for Wed mat, Wed eve, Thurs eve, Sat mat, Sat eve. Like frogs_fan85 mentioned, $26.50

I may give that a shot. Think they'll still have SRO tickets available around 5? (that's the soonest I can get there). I'd love to see the show again.

How's the rush been lately? I'm going to the show tomorrow and plan on getting there at noon when the box office opens. Is there usually a long line already there?

Could someone explain the rush policy for this show is it lottery or just student rush when box office opens?

I arrived at the box office at 12:03 PM on Sunday (it opens at 12) and was sold out of both student rush and SRO. The latter I expected since they're sold in advance, but there is NO WAY they could sell every student ticket for the day in 3 minutes. There were only two people under 25 years old in front of me online who I saw buying a student ticket. What's with that?

when I went last wednesday I was 2nd in line (got there at 7:30) by the time 10 rolled around there were 40 people in line, the box tickets vary from performance to performance (on the night I went out of 10 box seats only 4 were sold to students) ALso the SRO tickets for the whole week are sold starting on monday morning

Do you mean all student rush for that performance? Or all rush for all future performances? A couple of students I know were going to try the show on my recommendation, but if there's no more student rush, they probably won't go.

Tried for SRO Monday morning and there was a line and about half way through was told SRO was sold out for the entire week. How many SRO spaces were they supposed to have each day? Didn't seem like there were that many people.
