The seats designed as "partial view"--particularly those in the first couple of rows--how "partial" are they? Are the worth it? Thanks.

I sat in a front row partial view seat the first time I saw it and it was perfectly fine. You hardly miss anything really-about two inches of scenery but no action really. It's really not that bad.

To the best of my knowledge, some of the partial view seats just have the top of the proscenium obstructed, where a VERY minimal sight gag (is it even really that funny?) happens at the top of the show. I sat in a restricted view seat in the very rear of the mezz and honestly, there was nothing restricted.

I hate the restricted view stuff - sometimes it seems like an overly cautious warning and other times the view is ridiculously restricted (to the point where the seats should just not be sold). It's so hard to tell without surveying a crowd of experts (thank heavens for BWW)!
