Some fans think it's Rumplestiltskin... but others are thinking Leopold.

Has anyone mentioned that "Zelena" is the Czech and Slovak word for green? I was kind of surprised when I heard the name for the first time..

But it is pronounced differently... it's "zeh-leh-nah" not "zuh-lee-nah". Same spelling, though

Makes total sense that they'd do that since many of the names they give to their characters line up with their alter egos.

Mary Margaret Blanchard - Snow White
Ashley Boyd - Cinderella
Ruby - Red Riding Hood
Regina Mills - Evil Queen
Sidney Glass - Magic Mirror/Genie
Archie Hopper - Jiminy Cricket
Jefferson (Airplane)
Paige - Grace

I'm not really enjoying the Zelena storyline. For some reason it just seems too "mean" for this show (which is weird). I can't really put my finger on what's bothering me so much about it but I do hope that character is done with fairly soon.
Everyone is aware that "Sutton Ross" used to go by "Sue Storm". Right?

I suspect she'll be with us until the end of the season. They built up to her arrival too much to be done with her quickly.

I do not think she will be gone by seasons end.

It's shocking how demented and gleefully wicked Zelena is... Really a psychopath. I am not bothered by it yet though. They have to establish her as sincerely and solidly evil and worse than Regina EVER was.. Then, much like Regina, they will no doubt continue to peel layers back and deconstruct the character and create a fully rounded and balanced character.

and yes, as someone with Czech heritage and only a slight familiarity with some words, I did laugh when her name was said...

I'm glad to see that Regina has finally put all of differences and hatred for Snow White aside. She even is willing to love someone else again. I hope nothing awful will happen to her relationship with Robin Hood. Entertainment Weekly also just released a photo of the Charmings' new baby.

Maybe this baby is Dorothy Gale and Emma Swan will be referred to as her "Aunt" Em in an effort to explain away the age difference?

I'm always trying to figure out who Emma is since she's the only person who doesn't have a fairy tale counterpart.

ETA: and maybe Henry will be referred to as the baby's "Uncle" Henry. And Em, Henry and Dorothy will all live together after the witch kills Snow & Charming (killing Snow & Charming may just be wishful thinking on my part) Maybe they just go to the Enchanted Forest while Em, Henry & Dorothy stay in our world...maybe Kansas?

Art has a double face, of expression and illusion.

Tonight was by far the best episode of this season.

Is anyone else wondering if Aurora and Phillip are dead? Is their child an orphan in the enchanted forest?

The whole time they were blowing away winged monkeys I was thinking that any of them could be Aurora, Phillip, or Little John.

I was thinking about that too as they were just massacring all the winged monkeys. They know that they're people so it was weird to see them killed so easily.

I know this type of series doesn't typically get much love at awards season, but Lana Parrilla is way overdue for some recognition.

I agree!

Looks like Zelena's spirit is still active and created that portal - but is it a time-travel portal? Will they spend next season popping in and out of various time periods?

Robin Hood made mention of the fact the the monkeys were friends in last night's episode. Where was that concern the week before? We saw Little John become human again. Are we to assume Aurora and Phillip were part of the group killed last week? I hope this little hole gets filled.

As highly entertaining as this season has been (and since the drawn out Neverland portion of the season ended, it's been great!), it becomes more apparent every week that the only member if the cast who can really act is Lana Parilla.

Are there any spoilers yet as to where we're heading next season? Or who the villain is?

Might it be Wonderland, given that that actor from the failed Wonderland spinoff is joining the cast?

I doubt they'll go back to Wonderland after the flop but I really can't think of where they could go. A Galaxy Far Far Away perhaps? A mash up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe? That animated Mickey Mouse club that used to be The Disney Channel?

The problem is they shot themselves in the foot by making most of the Disney Fairytale characters come from the generic "Enchanted Forest."

I would suggest the Hundred Acre Wood, but that opens the door for a whole season of bad, bad, bad CGI.

I stumbled onto a fan site with a message board where most fans were in agreement that the next villain would be the formerly not evil Blue Fairy.

Well I think a lot of people thought the "Black Fairy" was going to be the Wicked Witch, since they hinted at her being banished from the Enchanted Forest. Since Zelena and the Black Fairy are not the same maybe that is where we are headed.
