#1Venus in Fur vs. Chinglish: which would you recommend?

Hi -
I had planned to see both at some point, but have visitors in town this weekend.
They saw Priscilla last night and loved...Now, they want to see something else fun, a play this time.
Just between these two, Venus and Chinglish, which would you recommend as more mainstream fun?
thanks!

Unless they want to catch up on their sleep, Venus in Fur is not recommended for fun.

For fun: Memphis, Priscilla (which they saw) Anything Goes.
, Jersey Boys, The Fantastiks, Sons of the Prophet,
Blue Man Group, even Adams Family which although not great is at the very least fun.

Thanks, Goldenboy...Those are all good standbys, but I take it you have not seen Chinglish? I'm just trying to choose between venus and chinglish.

I have seen neither, but the general reception on here has been more positive for Venus in Fur. And, when I get to the city and choose between them, I am going to choose Venus.

Out of those two I would choose Chinglish. It's not great but there are some fun parts. Just be sure that your guests will be ok with reading subtitles for must of the night.
