1) what do you consider stunt casting? When I'd watch the show I'd hear often "that's the woman from cheers" re bebe, is that stunt casting?
2) Chicago. Tends to only do couple month contracts cause they like to leave it open incase a star wants to do it. It's been like that since the early 2000s, that's how Fran and Barry like it.
3) @pattifan you find that performance of Florence that risqué? I love that performance.

Yes, JBradshaw...call me old fashioned, but seeing Florence Henderson in black leather and brandishing a whip is risque. (She'd make a fantastic Mama Morton.) I wonder who is next for "Billy Flynn", once Jason Danieley's current run ends?

It wasn't like Florence was doing #17 showing off her 'Brady Bunch' ... It wasn't that risqué :-P
bebes the next billy. I just keep hearing from the costume dept she's awful cause she can't find the right size bulge for her pants.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

With two weeks to go till the end of her run, I think it's kind of odd that the producers of the show haven't shown any performance videos of Veronica Dunne as Roxie. I kind of thought of the same thing with the football player Eddie George. I mean, it would be free publicity if BWW or some other site presented that video. Since both Lana Gordon and Dunne end their runs at the same time, who might be the ones to replace them in their respective roles?

Congratulations to the Broadway production of CHICAGO for reaching this incredible milestone of 20 years! This show is near and dear to me and I have thoroughly enjoyed each of the 24 times I've seen it.
I heard they were updating the costumes somehow around the 20th anniversary? Has anyone heard anything else about that?

Happy 20th birthday, Chicago the Musical! It holds, and will always hold, a special place in my little heart.
Too bad it didn't celebrate its 20th birthday the way it had celebrated its 10th and 15th birthday, which was asking former cast members back and doing a show together. But I'm excited all the same and wish it a lot of successful years ahead on Broadway and around the world!

Was outside the theatre when those pictures were being taken - a very kind box office lady sold me a rush ticket!
The show was fantastic - I thought there would be cast members coming back and performing, but it was a great show nonetheless. Veronica Dunne really is quite good - nice singing and acting! The Weisslers gave a speech at the start - and that was it! The show did not feature the chorus trying to grab as much attention as possible, which a few other people have mentioned to me. Paul Alexander Nolan was terrific, I was specifically enthralled by how NaTasha Yvette Williams and R. Lowe have managed to keep their performances so fresh and fun after so long with the show. Kudos to them.

I'd think so. I don't see the show going anywhere.
