I probably laughed about "Whore Ads" for way longer than I should have.

I was all good with this until The Californians. I never found that skit funny, and it isn't funny now either.

The audience didn't seem to get it either.

But that opening was hilarious - and I loved the celebrity Jeopardy skit.

Yeah, The Californians is something they really did not need to bring back. Don't care who it involves. They could have done something better.

Agree re Californians

Time has not been kind to many of the men.

I have grown to love the Californians.

Tonight has been epic. I do wish it was an hour long tribute with clips followed by a fully live show with all live sketches.

2 hours in and 1 hour to go. Yikes.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Please no more Kanye West

Eddie Murphy is introduced and basically after saying a few words he is gone

Very hit & miss tonight. Some parts remind me of Idina Menzell saying WTF.

When I saw the opening bit with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, I pictured Justin Timberlake and NPH doing a remake of a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby "On the Road" picture.

It could be about the whole entertainment industry now showing the big -- Justin Timerlake's own arena pop act -- and the small -- Marc Maron's pod cast in his garage. Today's Radio: an in person interview on the "Howard Stern" show followed by a scene visiting a super big FM station -- one fat guy in a bare room at a PC connected to a transmission tower

Also, it'd be cool to see Timberlake and NPH somehow in a Cirque Du Soleil act for a few minutes.

NPH needs to go away for a couple years. Rarely has a celebrity been as nauseatingly overexposed as him.

Show seems to be very uneven
