Namo, I am too. Security up there are usually really on top of things, even during camera blocking and rehearsals. We were NOT allowed on the sound stage while wrappinville was being rehearsed! We stepped in the studio and there was a hand on our shoulder to point us back out and we WORK on the show!
Way back when when there was a protester for Sharon Stone. They got one shout out and were immediately shown the door, and not too gently.

Just out of curiosity... Was Jimmy Fallon's chest hair real in that one sketch?

Oh yeah, I remember that Sharon Stone thing.

Last night I just assumed the most frequent/earliest every time screamer for the rest of the show was the same woman.

Namo, from what I have heard, yes, it was. Which is why I am surprized she wasn't asked to leave after the first offense.

I enjoyed the episode though. I always love Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake together.

I thought you were joking about the Instagraming Namo, then I saw the picture! How freaking unprofessional! But then, she doesn't have to be, she is freaking Madonna!

I will admit that when Jimmy as Barry first mentioned the name Madonna, I thought it was Nasim in a wig version of that regrettable hairdo Madonna has been sporting. I then thought she left out the most important detail: the gloves Madonna uses to keep her hands hidden. When it was revealed to actually BE Madonna, I thought, "Good for her, brave enough to let her hands go naked!" Once again, however, I just will never understand why it is so damned difficult for Madonna to get through a few measly lines of dialogue on these SNL cameos when there's a teleprompter right there and she's looking right at it?

Because she it too focused on planning her Instagram photo. duh!

Even pre-Instagram, though. The one time she was any good at all (besides the pre-taped Wayne's World bit with the Truth or Dare parody) was when she was playing "Liz Rosenberg" on the "Coffee Talk" sketch with Roseanne Barr and Streisand dropped in. That was it. Every other time it's been halting dialogue, uncomfortable silence, total amateur hour. What on earth is so hard for her?

When they had a full stage shot I saw Madonna in the background and thought "Wow, Nasim really looks like her!" Then throughout the entire skit she was fumbling with her pockets or something and I finally realized it was her phone she was messing with. I thought she moved over just to text or check Facebook or something because (even the megastars) can't be without using their phones for even 5 minutes.

I notice this every night when I'm at my theater. It's not even close to being my job to tell people to put their phones away but I still do it because it's disturbing people around them and man, they're NOT happy. I see them on Facebook, texting, anything other than being in the moment and actually watching the show they've paid good money for and I want the people who came to enjoy themselves to actually be able to do that and not be disturbed. This new inability to not be without your social media for even an hour (or in Madonna's case, 5 minutes) is just….odd.

Did she have a facelift? Her "smile" looked a little 'tight'.
Maybe it was that God-awful hair-do.

Loved the episode last night. (Watched it this evening on Tivo). Thought Timberlake did a great impression of Fallon during the (otherwise stupid) Family Feud sketch.

Single Bed was laugh out loud funny.

Great job on the costumes, Snafu!

I was at the 'Christmas' episode last year. A far different show, given the recent shooting in Newtown. But brilliant. They always seem to nail this special annual episode.

Maybe kaballah doesn't have a "be in the moment" lesson? The first time I saw her leaning and groping around her waist I just assumed she was having trouble with her mic pack.

I feel like her most recent surgical enhancements have settled into a more human look.

Yeah. That really didn't work. For a second I thought she was going to play McCartney's teeny tiny harmonica, but it was too much to hope that Madonna would do a call-back to somebody who wasn't herself.

Madonna's appearance was torturous. I agree that she seems to be settling into her face. I was actually surprised she let herself go on television looking like that.

I still can't wrap my head around the gay Scrooge sketch. It's like someone said, "Hey! Let's do one where Scrooge is gay" and instead of coming up with a plot they just came up with ways to act gay.

I think the basic idea was good, Scrooge was a horrible person because he was a closeted homosexual, just like so many repressed Republicans and religious figures. The problem was Fallon's execution. I have a feeling he thought he was being like Stefon, a loving send-up of a type. Instead he came off like a kind of mean-spirited Paul Lynde.

Fallon also pulled a Linda Richman on Update. I am sure somewhere Mike Myers was going' "WTF?"

SNL is back and Drake is killing it!

Sasheer Zamata also makes her debut tonight. They've put her in every sketch so far.

LOVED the Bar Mitzvah opening! Drake is doing a great job.

I actually laughed into coughing fits during the slumber party scene. I didn't realize Drake would be so completely committed to the comedy.
