Strongest show of the season so far. Loved "The Californians."
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

One of the stronger episodes. Tech Talk was brutal.
And, as a SoCal resident, the Californian made me laugh - we do default to traffic, and all the ways to avoid congestion and how to get around.

I enjoyed how Christina Applegate channeled Kristin Wiig for the Dance Teacher segment Miss Jizz, or whatever she was called.
Hated Californians- too long---Tech Talk was ok
Best part of the show- Passion Pit

Taboo, I was thinking the same thing.
I thought she was channeling Wiig during parts of her skits.
Applegate was fabulous - comfortable doing live shows (DUH) and had some pretty impressive skills (IMO).
I actually thought the Arianna bit was really funny. And, I keep hearing "Attention Teachers and Students" in my head. The Mufasa like made me laugh out loud.

The Californians was great! I grew up in Los Angeles and still travel there for business about once every two months. And yes, people do talk like that with freeway numbers (101, 5, 405, 10, 110, 170, etc.) rolling off their tongues. Especially liked Little Santa Monica versus Santa Monica Blvd (only people who live or have lived in Los Angeles got that joke).

It's very cute they happened to capture the highway references in LA... but doesn't anybody think that skit was 2 scenes waaaay tooo long?
That's hoe I always feel when they do that skit. It's always the same, I don't understand why they keep doing it over and over again.

I love the Californians sketches! Lived in LA for 8 years and go up there a couple months so i always laugh at their directions!
the Sirens skit had me laughing hysterically!!!! Jason S was hilarious when he was like "how do I know the lyrics?!" ha!

That Fosse skit stank. Christina Applegate doesn't do Fosse well enough to be be funny as someone supposedly teaching Fosse to others.
And what was the joke about sleeping with Tommy Tune about? To show that she was lying?

I think the point was that she didn't do Fosse well and she didn't know what she was talking about. And she thought she was once on a date with Tommy Tune.

I've had such a busy week. Last night I finally saw Christina Applegate's episode and it was very enjoyable. She was a terrific host and the sketches were funny. I am looking forward to the Bruno Mars episode tonight.
The Pandora sketch was the best of the season so far. I was on the floor!

Bruno is doing a great job IMO! I really love his voice and he looked good as a girl! I didn't like the talk show as something was off about the timing of it or something and I thought the opening went on a little too long.
Poor Bill Hader. Gotta love him. Has he ever gotten through an entire Stefon sketch without losing it? Reminds me of Harvey Korman cracking up while watching Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show.
The debate sketch was by far the best and strongest of the night. I agree. The writing on this is just terrible.

Bruno Mars was awesome. I had never seen him before. Giving Timberlake a run for the money.
