Playbill.com now states that rush tickets are $39. Has anyone done the rush within the past week to confirm? Also, about how many rush tickets do they give out for each performance?
Hey, I was just wondering how rush was lately for Spiderman. When I'm in NYC next week, I'm planning on rushing Jerusalem and then rushing over to get seats for Spiderman. Do you think that'd be okay, or do you think my friend and I should split up and get tickets to both shows in that way?
I went at the end of previews, but for me common sense just says to divide and conquer. Why risk it when you can basically be two places at once with a friend! May not be fun to wait on line for an hour without your friend, but will ultimately be worth it seeing two.
Hi friends. What time have people been lining up outside of the Foxwoods? I'm planning on lining up this Sunday but don't want to get there at 6am if it's not necessary. is 8AM okay?
i pass by it everyday on the way to work, m-f i would say if you are there by 9 you wil be fine... there typically arent too many on the weekday when i pass around 8:45 maybe 6 max, if even
My opinion, based on seeing the show late in previews (way back when), is it's definitely a lot of fun. I sat front row then and don't know the current seat locations for rush. Aside from where your seated, the music is really cool, having elements both scary and amusing, epic rock blow-you-away songs mixed with soft heart wrenching love ballads. Reminded me of David Bowie with fantastic characters with way out world views. Patrick Page, as the villain Green Goblin is utterly irresistable and the actors were all excellent singers. I'm rushing tomorrow and plan on arriving at 11:00. Looking forward to it.
Update- I did the rush yesterday (Sunday the 26). I arrived at 8:30 and was 3rd and 4th in line. The next group lined up at 9:00, and at 10:00 the line had about 10 people. At 11:00, the line was about 20 and then at 12:00 it was pretty long. I got my tickets, and they were all in the last 2 rows of the orchestra, and they are partial view. Perfect view of the stage, but when Spiderman flies, then you cant see it, if he goes up into the mezz/flying circle, but you dont miss anything major. :)
