I'm auditioning for Fiddler on the Roof in a few weeks and I need a good audition song.
I'm auditioning for the role(s) of the daughters. I am a 21 year old mezzo/soprano with a relatively good range.
Any ideas on what I should sing for the audition?

so, the audition is for what? i mean for the fiddler of the roof in what production?
For what i know you should choose a song that suits your voice. From your nickname i guess that you are a fun of the phantom of the opera. Why don't you sing Think of me? i know it is more for a soprano but you could sing it since you have a good range. Or you may choose to sing the song that you like from the fiddler of the roof.

Hm. Don't sing anything from Phantom...ever.

I would look into some Gershwin stuff. A great one for this might be The Man That Got Away. It speaks to the theme of the show. You can get it in whatever key you want, so you could belt or sing it up in your higher range.
