Pantages just announced.

Aladdin

Love Never Dies

School of Rock

The Color Purple

On Your Feet

Waitress

Wally was right, no Hamilton included in the packages, which is disappointing, but whatever. Just will have to ensue the chaos when it goes on sale.

I love how they refer to LND as "the highly acclaimed" companion to Phantom. Yeah, right! Highly acclaimed by whom? Webber's poker buddies?

Does anyone know the tour dates for Love Never Dies in Maryland? I have the dates for Baltimore but there's another city they are playing in and I can't find the information for it. The LND website hasn't updated with the tour schedule.

Well it sounds like Something Rotten and The Humans will be headed to the Ahmanson when they come to LA. Any other thoughts on what the Ahmanson might get? Les Miserables?

I wouldn't be surprised if Pantages subscribers get priority tickets to Hamilton or something, but I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned even if it was billed as part of the 2016-2017 season. Otherwise, that's a really good season. No return engagements, and some really great shows.

So became a subscriber for the 2017/2018 Orlando season so I can get Hamilton tickets. I am trying to tell myself that I would have been better off being a subscriber this past season since I saw 2 shows and have tickets to a 3rd and a few I was on the fence about.

I know for a fact I want to see:

The King and I

Waitress (my daughter wants to see it, and then I can not worry about seeing in NYC this summer)

School of Rock (again my daughter wants to see it-I'm game)

Love Never Dies (I am a broken record-my daughter is all about it because she's Phantom obsessed)

Something Rotten-kind of have misfeelings. I LOVE Christian Borle and that's who I saw in it so it's hard to believe another Bard can be as great. However the story and music is great.

Book of Mormon-I did just see in NYC. But my mom hasn't seen in a few years, and my dad has never seen so it should be fun.

I have zilch interest in On Your Feet unless someone can make a good argument for me to see it. I didn't even enter the lottery when in NYC.

Thoughts on Rent.

Not seeing Lion King. Being an AP pass holder I feel like I have seen Lion King a 100 times.

On Your Feet is just fun, especially if you listened to MSM/Gloria growing up. Even my mom, who was not the biggest Estefan fan, loved the show after seeing it in August. She will be out of town for the majority of its run in my hometown, but she is moving her tickets to the day before she has a 9 am flight because she wants to see it again. Is it going to change your life? No. Is it just going to be a good time? It is for me.

There is my pitch. Take it as you will.

I'd love it if Sunset with Close and Dolly with Midler transfers to the Ahmanson next year

I was actually thinking about Sunset transferring to Ahmanson. I highly doubt a Dolly transfer, though.

Thank you-that is a very good endorsement. Maybe it would be fun with my daughter or a few of my friends for a Girls Night Out!

I'm hoping for a better season at the Ahmanson since I won't be renewing at the Pantages.  There's the possibility of Spring Awakening at the Ahmanson, the Humans, Something Rotten, maybe Les Miz, maybe Bright Star?

Just canceled my subscription at Pantages.  The only show I am interested in seeing is Color Purple so I'll wait and just get a ticket for that show when it goes on sale.  Really disappointing after the strong season the Pantages has this year.

Hopefully, the Ahmanson season next year will be better.

I'm a Pantages subscriber and as probably mentioned here - Hamilton is part of the 2016-2017 season.  I like the 2017-2018 Pantages line-up; it's full of crowd-pleasers (though Love Never Dies remains an unknown).  Considering the number of shows that didn't survive the 2015-2016 season, what else is there to tour?

And you're probably right, conealpetterson - Something Rotten will probably go to the Ahamnson.  Humans would be much better in the Taper, but it would be welcome at either theatre.  Spring Awakening was terrific, but I hope it doesn't come back as part of the Ahamnson season.  It started here in LA and played twice.  Bright Star would be a nice addition.  Aren't Miss Saigon and Fiddler supposed to tour in 2018?

The Humans would most likely go to Ahmanson. The set would not fit in the Taper.

I've seen The Humans, and for that same set, you're right, it wouldn't fit. 2017-2018 Touring Season

I love this show, so I would recommend it regardless. But a Girls Night Out is a great way to enjoy it. Plenty of dancing, female empowerment, sexy dancing guys, live energetic band, etc! Every time I go to the Marquis to see it there's always groups of girls having the time of their lives, drink in hand obviously :)

I keep wondering what Philly is going to get besides Rotten.. I'm probably one of the few who wants Love Never Dies to come here but it looks like it could only come in Oct-Nov 2017 based on the schedule so far...(The Philly season usually starts right after Thanksgiving ). I also really hope Phantom comes back and the new Les Mis tour.....

Ana may be going to the Netherlands production? No official announcement for either yet, and my dutch isn't as good as it needs to be to accurately translate their posts. I can't tell if Ana is leading the show straight from Broadway, or just leading the performance where they announced the production and she leads it on Broadway.

Oops.Well I just read the fb post again and it's somebody in the Broadway production who's leading the tour and the person who wrote that is friends  with her..I guess her name is Christie since there was a "Congrats Christie" in the comments,,,,,,

EDIT:Just looked at Gloria's post and Christie is leading the tour!
