I think it lets you enter the lottery, but still. I don't get why a Hamilton app is necessary. It's a Broadway musical, not a TV show or video game.

I don't get it; there's been a free "Ham" app out there for years now that does that just fine.

I don't get it; there's been a free "Ham" app out there for years now that does that just fine.

 

At this point it just seems like the producers are trying to brand anything they can get as Hamilton. If you are a part of a multi-media news site that launches their own app, that's fine. But Hamilton is a musical. A highly successful musical, yes, but a musical nonetheless. What can we really do on a Hamilton app that hasn't been done already? Watch videos, get casting info, donate to Ham4All, enter the lottery, that's cool. But at the end of the day, it feels so unnecessary to have an app just for Hamilton.
