KDOGG, I do not doubt and have seen aholes on both sides. I just like to point out hypocrisy of posters here, and in the media who focus on just one side. 

Just my advice,  I would have stayed out of it. You never know who has gun.  To me, these people make fools of themselves with their own words.

"Staying out of it" is exactly what Nazi collaborators did. "Not making waves" is a goal of small minds, and fascism, whether potential or actual, should be met with loud protest.

It's also rather interesting that, searching for the validity of this story, I see that, as of 10:00 AM EST, it only appears in a small handful of (mostly Brit) far-right tabloids and blogs. No reputable or centrist news organs are carrying it at all, even though it's reported to have happened Saturday. Nothing from the NY Times, the AP, Reuters, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.

I wonder how much veracity it has. Perhaps this is just one more of those "alternative facts" that the current administration and its toadies champion.

Until a reputable news organ verifies this story, my strong suspicion is that its proof of nothing except your inability to find real news. But I would suspect that of anyone who quotes anything from Fox without backing it up with a quote from a real news source.

If people just made fools of themselves with words like this, we wouldn't have a President Trump.

In reality, words like this broadcast to like-minded people that their hate and bigotry is tolerable. It's an endorsement, and Trump's election has provided racists, sexists, homophobes, and xenopobes with the reassurance that their hate is now welcome in America. 

There are literally plenty of psychological studies that have shown that unchecked bigoted remarks just reinforce bigoted beliefs of others around them. Ignoring them is to breed the beliefs.

Personally, I think that woman on the plane acted like an idiot.I have no idea what instigated her behavior, but clearly she needed to go.  But it doesn't even compare to the racist, homophobic and xenophobic videos that have been posted by Trump supporters.  You can focus on these and post them and call attention to them all you want if you feel the media is being terribly unfair.  Ignoring the proud voices of racism, homophobia and xenophobia of the alt right is not going to mean it didn't happen and the media will always focus more sharply on it for reasons that are quite obvious and simple to understand.
