Obviously PalJoel was wrong. However, the original impetus for this thread was the famous recording (quoted recently on another thread) about Donald Trump having sex with married women, kissing them without consent, and grabbing their vaginas.

This didn't prevent Trump from becoming president. But is there really anyone here who can deny that it should have prevented him from becoming president?

KDOGG,If you are asking me if I like that talk. The Answer is NO If you are asking me if that should disqualify someone from being President, of course not. Having read about LBJ after seeing All The Way, he reguarerly said that and worse to men and women all the time, including his wife including Martin Luther King. Is it nice? NO. Should he not have been President? Come on now. Are we such sensitive snowflakes?

I have heard talk like that all my life. Its Boys being Boys, Lockerroom talk.  Do I like it? NO,  Would I put up with it if someone said it to me? NO, I would kick him in the balls. Would I vote for someone who said that on the campaign trail? NO. But it was from years ago and a private conversation. I know I have said some vile things about Mens genitals as have most of my BFFs in private. So what? They are just words.  Now if he actually DID that, that would be a different story

Men who've actually spent a lot of time in locker rooms, like professional athletes, have debunked the notion that this was typical locker-room talk. And a ton of evidence was presented that he has acted on these words in the past. No one seemed to care, though.

Well, it's not just the language. It's also the lack of judgment that led to it being publicized. It's also the copious evidence that he has acted on those thoughts in the past.

However, bad as that is, it's still not even close to the main reason to oppose Trump, so I won't dwell on it any further.
