I've never heard of this show, but I'm curious as to why you're all watching even though you seem to loath it.

Oh Mister Matt....Robert was a little bit more 3 dimensional than you are giving him credit for. He spends time volunteering for gay organizations and was very open minded. He was far from perfect and knew it. You  are sounding a tad bitter and one has to wonder why.

He said that after Escorting he was objectified when dating and he never knew if men were into to him for his looks or who he was as a person.  So I think it was more of a carry over from the industry he had worked in and not so much about him thinking that he was so attractive that everyone objectified him. He also was known to have a very large attribute that proved to be an asset while escorting.

If that's really him in all the pics and video- his "Attribute" ain't that big. LOL

His client reviews on Rent Boy put him at 10. Seems impressive to me.

I thought his "attribute" was pretty impressive.  And I'm a top!  I find it interesting that on the show he claimed to be 34ish.  Wikipedia states his age at 40.  Which in my opinion is the more accurate age based on his looks.

I don't think any of the boys on this show were truthful about their age.

Well, that reunion show really ripped the veil of illusion off the fairytale ending for Robert and Eric. They couldn't even pretend that their love match has lasted past the rolling of the credits of the previous show. Robert tried to be diplomatic, but Eric seemed to be having none of it-- he couldn't even fake a cheerful answer when Lance Bass pressed him on some lurid details of their love affair. Gosh, did they even manage a hot one night stand at least before the cruel cold light of morning descended on their happy ending?

Whatever else this reunion show was, it made for a lousy commercial to bother tuning in for Season 2 if the end result was going to be a love match only until the cameras went home. Wah-wah-wahhhhh.

I just watched the reunion on youtube.  Robert looked really uncomfortable to be there.  It's like he was dreading that one of the guys would spill what they really knew about him.  If you look at the body language between Eric and Robert, you can really see that they are not together.  Before I watched this morning, DataLounge had a really good post about Chad's true opinions about Robert.  He really spilled some negative tea about him.  I wish the reunion would have been more explicit, but Logo was probably having none of that.  The more I watched Robert during the reunion, there is no way he is 33.  If he is, he's led a hard life.

Normally the happy couple (on straight dating shows) is physically all over one another with huge smiles on their faces. Robert and Eric seemed like they had just found out that Trump was elected president. Robert was fidgety through most of the program and Brandon was hugging the left end of the couch like he was on the Titanic. One does feel like their were other things going on that we were not made aware of.

What was the DataLounge scoop?

Chad called him out for being a sociopath.  Also claimed that his escort days were not in the past and still in the present.  He stated that Robert was trying to hook up with him, Brandon and Paul when he was supposed to be with Eric.  He did post a shirtless picture of him and Robert during Market Days, so there may be some credibility there.  He stated Robert wanted to have sex, but they just cuddled.  He also called Robert's package a science project, so not sure about that.  Also claimed that Robert stole $40,000 from his charity.  He is friendly with some of the donors and they want their money back.  Also called Robert's interior design company a facade.  It was a pretty dishy read.

Heavens to Betsy. Pass the smelling salts! That is quite the Dish I must say. I really don't know why Robert and Eric would be compelled to lie if things did not work out. It is not like we would all be crying about finding soul mates. Dramatically it would have been more interesting. It was so weird how they spent 40 minutes without Robert and the last 2 suitors. That in itself was kind of suspicious. And then with Robert being so jittery and Brandon hugging the end of the couch like Robert had crabs....would love to know what was really going on.

I personally feel that when they do it again they should replace Lance Bass who contributed nothing to the proceedings other than Hey Everybody I am Lance Bass. Someone warmer like Josh Barro. And I think they could add more tension by showing the hookups, time passage and lack of internet and cell phones.

Smooth Lover, I left out that Chad stated that Robert would steal Rolex watches off the nightstand  of his tricks.  I agree that Lance Bass was an awful host.  Even during the reunion, when Sam stated that Chad enjoyed their hookup, he should have went back to Chad and question him.  Chad looked really uncomfortable when Sam was talking about it.  Perfect missed opportunity. Then he dropped the whole discussion all together.  I guess LOGO wanted some name recognition for the show.

Just spilling the T from the real source...for research.

Finding Prince Charming

Reunion Recap.. I just have to get this off my chest. Since the word "authentic" was used so many times on the show Finding Prince Charming by that fraud of a bachelor. I think it's time that someone takes heed to their own advice. How about being authentic that you're still hooking. It's been proven many times that you are. Also branding yourself as an "interior designer" when we all know that is a completely, and poorly, manufactured FAKE business, I mean, your portfolio speaks for itself. How about coming clean that you embezzled over $40K from the Atlanta rainbow crosswalks project. I just happen to be friends with some of the donors. They want their money back! Also, stealing Rolex's off the nightstand of your hookups. How about being authentic about the fact that you have physically abused your partners in every relationship that you have had, including and not limited to launching blunt objects at their head, like a computer. How about being authentic about the fact that you actively pursued me, Brandon, Eric and Paul right after the show wrapped. How about being authentic about seeing your Johns just before and AFTER the show finalized shooting. Oh, and last but definitely not least, how about that time you pursued me a DAY after you were with Eric to try and hook up with me in Chicago during market days after saying you were not with anyone. Just to be very clear, none of us knew about Roberts past and consequently, his present about being a rent boy. Here's a lovely pic of Robert and I at Market Days in Chicago. For the record, he tried to sleep with me. But even then, without knowing what I know now, I wouldn't go near that science experiment. And by science experiment I'm talking about his penis. I insisted that we should just cuddle. Stop LYING! Peace out you sociopathic ho! #realtalk #thetruth#exposed

2 thoughts: What would happen if (when) Logo staged a gay dating show and no-one wanted to be matched up with the "Prince Charming" in the first place? And #2, what Chad writes is likely accurate, but Chad is sort of an unreliable narrator himself, no?

"What would happen if (when) Logo staged a gay dating show and no-one wanted to be matched up with the "Prince Charming" in the first place?"

Pointless conjecture. America will always have countless hordes of stupid, shallow people who will do anything (ANYthing) to be on TV.

You  are sounding a tad bitter and one has to wonder why.

I'm not bitter.  I just found him to be off-putting and annoying on the show and in the interview I read.  He reminds me of the delusional Prime Time 99 guy (Alex Stein) who is obsessed with being a reality TV star (but really bad at it).  If I specifically indicate why I find someone annoying and off-putting, one has to wonder why would one would have to wonder why.
