I also believe that she played a great game.  I'm not sure that I agree that she flew under the radar -- her name was brought up for elimination almost every week. I was personally routing for Aubrey for the win and was glad that she got final votes.

Et al, lah ... Poof! Cheyenne Jackson ordered me a drink at Standing Ovations 2 waayyyyyy before Girly hung out with him in the dressing room and he tickled D2.

Just watched this last night and I'm okay with Michelle winning, but I was pretty shocked by it.  I do think she flew under the radar for most of the game because that really was her strategy (she admitted as much) and I can respect that as long as you really own it.  But she really leaned hard on the whole Elle Woods of Survivor schtick about how she had to prove she was so much more than a stereotype and I just didn't buy it (I'm shocked that her other beauty tribe members weren't more than a bit offended if you think about it).  Sure, her name came up a few weeks to be voted out because she was in an alliance that was being picked off one by one.  Then she just voted however she was told or lucked out that someone else became a bigger threat.  And then she made it sound like she planned to win challenges at the end when she "needed" them (not when she was targeted after the merge?).  I only think she won because she knew how to leverage the bone tossed to her by Nick during the Q&A.

I actually thought Tai would have had it in the bag, having made one of the ballsiest moves in Survivor history, but I was really rooting for Aubrey.  I actually thought she was the shrewdest of the three and played strong after  the first two weeks.  But that final tribal is what really determines the winner and Michelle played the jury like a fiddle (as well as the reunion audience).  Aubrey was the one who really recognized Michelle as a threat, but by the time she could get enough on board, it was way too late.

Honestly, I think if Cydney had been in the final three, she would have won.

Is it true that nearly an entire year has gone by the last tribal council?  A YEAR?  Sheeesh!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Yes. The final tribal council was May 2015. The winner was crowned in May 2016. Crazy to have to wait that long!!
