Beyond anything I could have possibly imagined. What's so wonderful about this show is that it totally takes on the identity of its surroundings. I saw the show both at the Starr and the McKittrick -- both were very different. This was by FAR the best.

"Bring down my things. I'm going out of this world exactly the way I came in to it: wearing a hat." - Colleen Donaghy, "30 Rock" -- "The choice may have been mistaken, the choosing was not."

It is / they are going to Edinburgh in August. Cool!

Between this and Cherry Jones in The Glass Menagerie, August is shaping up to be a good time to visit Scotland.

It seems I make a lot of posts about this show. Anyway, various updates here: http://us3.campaign-archive1.com/?u=af7a95d108d6c7798f0fe43e9&id=cedd0df7ca. Most notably, they've released a second cast album, recorded live this time, including the spoken scenes. You can listen online for free, or buy the album to help fund their Edinburgh trip. http://davemalloy.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-the-mckittrick. From what I've heard so far it's not very different from the first recording, but it's nice to get the scenes, particularly for those who won't get to see this in person.

i've really come to love this score in the last month or so since I first heard it. I'm glad they've released a second album, it helps with some of the plot holes caused by listening to the recording without seeing it. I wish I could go to the upcoming performance at Joe’s Pub!

"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
