So, add to that the two leads and you pretty much have the whole cast, minus SO for two more seasons. I wonder about Kevin McKidd. His storyline has been so connected to Cristina.

I was REALLY hoping to be done with this show. Yang leaving just felt like an end I had been waiting for. But, OH NO! Shonda ain't having that! She had to throw in a big fabulous twist that makes me SO interested that I will keep watching. I literally gasped and sat with my mouth hanging open, waiting for her to say it. The moment she said she was adopted, the rolodex of characters in my head started turning. Then it hit me. Oh man. I wish I knew how to quit you!

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that either. People were speculating her character to be another love interest for someone. I kept wondering how this woman could be the daughter of Ellis and Richard without Thatcher or Meredith knowing. But, then I guess if she is head of cardio, there is a big possibility that she's older than Meredith. I think I'm also not 100% sure of when Ellis and Richard actually met, so that's why I'm confused a little by this.

I mostly watch for Callie. I want to know what's going to happen for her and Arizona in terms of having another child. And also what other horrible thing is in store for her. There is always something, it seems.

Ellis and Thatcher divorced when Mere was very small. This girl said she graduated from high school, college and med school very early. They could explain that Meredith went to summer camp or something while they lived in Boston. Maybe it was right after they divorced and Meredith was too young to understand. Regardless, I would bet she's younger than Meredith because Yang commented on how young she was.

That's true. The timing on this show rarely makes any sense. I also remember back in season 4 that Meredith told her therapist that her mother tried to kill herself once. I don't recall there being anything else really said except Meredith said the love of her life left. Then again, I am probably making that out to be more than it is.

That's right. I wonder if Shonda will think to tie that in? Hell, you can't think too deeply into this show. Callie's baby was born at 17 weeks and had no lasting health issues. That's next to impossible. The baby born this week was 9 weeks early, not on any sort of ventilator, looked to be about 10-12 pounds and was perfect. My daughter was born 5 weeks early, was about half that size and wasn't breathing.

Actually, Callie's baby was 23 1/2 weeks. It is possible, but definitely on the rare scale.

They said she was 23 weeks, but it made no sense. In the episode right before the accident, before the shower, the OB (Lucy) said she was 16 weeks. Going from 16 weeks to 23 weeks when there wasn't a jump for anyone else is just silly. Even so, a 23-weeker that had to have open heart surgery is going to have issues.

I still haven't been able to purge the HORRID musical episode from my brain.
