Very happy with the winners. I thought Daniel went home WAY too soon and was barely in the finale performances. I could watch him all day every day. And I was stunned Witney didn't make the final. I thought she was fantastic, especially that swag hip-hop routine with Twitch, which was one of my favorites of the season. She's pretty saucy for a Mormon girl.
and Tyce is such a tool.

Agreed, but I will give the show credit. After the auditions they thankfully barely let him speak as a judge (was he even a judge this year?) thank God. And they also realized that as a choreographer his Broadway stuff (always watered down rip offs of other Broadway routines it seems) sucks, but his contemporary stuff often is surprisingly very good, giving him more of that and the Broadway stuff to... *blanks on name* (though there weren't really too many Broadway highlights this year, they were better).
And OK, I know Simon isn't a ballet dancer, but last week when they did the very very abridged, standard Ivanove choreography for the Nutcracker Grand Pas (though they called it Nutcracker Suite, and it's not even part of the Suite--pet peeve of mine), Simon really said he was completely unfamiliar with the piece? Really? Does that mean he's never gone to a ballet recital, Nutcracker performance, or ballet competition where it's a standard, in his life?

He might have just meant not familiar ENOUGH with it to make specific comments on the piece.
I'm pleaed with the winners, but I wasn't nearly as intrigued through the season with the contestants as I'd been in past years.
The ending seemed a bit anti-climatic announcing the winners seperately....they just should have had all four of them on stage and announced both winners at the same time so they could both have the final moment.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

That's fair, though I still find that surprising.
I will disagree with you on the contestants--I thought this was by far the best year. I like how they also profile the choreographers more. I wanted Will in the final six instead of Cole, but I do agree that the two winners should have been announced at once.
