My school did You Can't Take It With you this past year and it was fabulous. We did Tom Jones last year- old fashioned comedy, but lovely. Two years ago we did two straight plays, Twelve Angry Men and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man In The Moon Marigolds. Marigolds was absolutely amazing, but with a cast of only five women, it's hard to do in a high school.

The thing crappy about these is they have small casts, not ways to build up a department. Anywho, my high school has done great performances of the Foreigner and Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.
Rosencrantz: "Be happy - if you're not even HAPPY what's so good about surviving? We'll be all right. I suppose we just go on."
- from Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
"One day, is that enough for you, one day he went dumb, one day I went blind, one day we'll go deaf, one day we were born, one day we shall die, the same day, the same second, is that enough for you? They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams an instant, then it's night once more." --Waiting for Godot
