I know I'm going a little wild with all the Ben Platt ideas, but he really seems like such a versatile performer. I'd love to watch a production of Dolly with him as Barnaby. Watching Taylor immediately made me think of Ben, and it'd be fun to see him take the role on tour or at regional theatres.

I just thought of that! That'd be kind of cute. Although I don't think he'd leap from as big a character as Evan Hansen to a supporting role like Barnaby that fast. Maybe in a year or so?

I'd kill to see Ben Platt as Seymour, even though I really like Daniel Radcliffe. Put Ben Platt in the lead and I would pay any amount of money to see this cast.

Not sure on cast, but I was just talking to the theatre music directors group on Facebook about the tragedy of having the jazzier, swinging revival orchestrations to Little Me destroyed in a flood. So I'd like to see a revival, emphasizing the swinging and white trash elements of the score, arranged and performed by the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
