There is a lot more than just gender going on that would cause defeat here (including the awful system given she did actually get more votes than him. Ridiculous.)."

She lost because of misinformation, character assassination, and pure stupidity on the part of the voters. If she were a man, none of this would have mattered. You know how I know that? Because look who is in the White House.
I posit the following six root causes of Hillary's loss to Trump, in order of relevance:
1. Trump's a much better sloganeer than she'll likely be in her lifetime..."Make America Great Again" fits on a bumpersticker and t-shirt
2. Misogyny in the red states, especially among olderwhite evangelical voters whose god would never call a woman to lead this nation...men in those parts hate her because of her ties to Bill and Obama...women there too because she doesn't know her place
3. Like Obama before him, Bernie stole much of her thunder partly due to being a better sloganeer
4. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Donne Brazile and the rest of the DNC party elites screwed the pooch and got caught in flagrante delicto
5. James Comey's 11th hour crisis of conscience did her no favors
6. She's always been over-managed by her inner circle and hubby Bill
Bigots, business owners, corporate board members, lobbyists, and trust fund babies are voters too!
