My predictions never come true but here goes... |
Bet he like Trump hasn't been getting any lately!

Wish your predictions were true this time
Whether Trump goes or perseveres depends on Comey Day tomorrow, but his approval rating has never been lower than it is this week:
THE HILL: Poll: Trump job approval falls to 34 percent

Well, at least not from their wives.
No matter what Comey says tomorrow, we're stuck with him. The morally bankrupt GOP will never betray him.
Per CNN, the Republican leaders have told Trump "no tweeting" during the Comey hearing tomorrow. Yet Trump has made it pretty clear that he plans to live tweet the hearing. I hope this means he starts to piss off the right (or, in his case, wrong) people here.

Let's all hope that DC and MD can show standing in the law suit. If so, Trump will be in a world of hurt as my mom is fond of saying.

How are the new jobs in Wisconsin and Michigan? All must be proud of their votes!
Most polling suggests that Trump voters are still overwhelmingly supportive of him. And, honestly, I doubt anything will happen to change that in the near future. A lot of the damage this administration won't manifest immediately.

All the polls I've seen range from 95%-98% of his supporters still supporting him. Nothing will happen.

Trump's base hit stasis before the general election. He can't expect any gains. If traditional Dems come out in droves for midterms next year like VA Dems did for the primaries two days ago, the numbers will be in their favor.
Changing lanes...VP Pence has lawyered up to counter Mueller. Folks are scrambling to avoid going down with Trump.

(NY Times) Southern Baptists Denounce White Nationals (including Alt-Right)
Delegates of the Southern Baptist Convention, an evangelical church fellowship with about 15 million members across the United States, condemned white supremacists and the “alt-right” in a resolution on Wednesday, one day after the delegates provoked a backlash by turning down a more harshly worded resolution.
Changing lanes...(Washingtonian) Five Takeaways from the VA Gubernatorial Primary
First, VA Dems coming out in record numbers for an off-year primary followed by the Southern Baptist Convention denouncement of Bannon & company. This is progress!!!
From tomorrow's Washington Posr:
"A heightened sense of unease gripped the White House on Thursday, as President Trump lashed out at reports that he’s under scrutiny over whether he obstructed justice, aides repeatedly deflected questions about the probe and Vice President Pence acknowledged hiring a private lawyer to handle fallout from investigations into Russian election meddling."
