This comment is made a lot and the answer is really simple. I always have intentions on seeing the show when I enter, things come up in our lives at the last minute and it prevents people from going. I'm sorry if you are personally offended by people not going to lotteries that they have won.

That's fair but the poster in this thread said he won AIP 6 times and didn't go once. That's ridiculous. No excuse for that.

This is why I don't like digital lotteries and preferred the in person lotteries. If you're already there in person and you win, you pay and attend the show. Versus, if you win and decide not to go so you don't pay and the tickets go to no one.

Don't enter if you can't 100% attend! It isn't fair for those of us who can actually attend the show to lose when others win and just decide not to go.

A simple solution to this is taking people's credit card info upon entering, then if you win, you're automatically charged.

I'm going to go ahead and cover my bases here because I can: as was said earlier, it's pretty hard to know 100 percent that you'll be able to go because the chance is always miniscule that you'll win (i.e. entering daily, it's hard to know for sure). With all of these, my wholehearted intention was to go, but stuff comes up, and it's harder to make these things work with more than one or two people. The AiP wins speaks to how many lottery tickets they were giving out towards the end of the run. I had no way of knowing they would offer tickets for all of the entries, and had I known, I wouldn't have had everyone in the group enter. It didn't end up working out, which is sad, but I also did have an intention of seeing the shows if possible.

My experience has been in Los Angeles only, but it has been a good one so....

All the shows this season at the Ahmanson have had a $19.67 lottery through today tix.

First I won for the Ivo Van Hove "A View From The Bridge". First row, great seats

Then "Amelie", 4th row center

And last week "Fun Home", front row dead center

Ive read a lot of complaints about TodayTix in New York, but they have been great to me with their lottery here in Los Angeles.

I've also had pretty major luck with the digital lotteries since moving to NYC:

Aladdin (front row mez, all the way to the left - partial view but was totally fine!)

The Lion King (last row in the theater, center)

Matilda (rear mez)

Phantom of the Opera (front row, center)

On Your Feet (front row, right)

The Illusionists (center orchestra, did it matter? the theater was empty!)

Kinky Boots (first box, right)

Book of Mormon (back box, left)

I'm extremely grateful for the lotteries... but have been so frustrated with Hamilton. I think I've entered Hamilton over 250+ times at this point. I also can't seem to win School of Rock... or Dear Evan Hansen. Maybe this is my month!

I would like to say thank you to whoever wrote about TodayTix because I found out they have my city and I can enter for shows near me!

I've been trying for about a month to win the Hamilton lottery with no luck, and maybe about a week ago I started trying for other lotteries. Well, I won for the first time yesterday!

I won tickets to the matinee showing of Cirque Du Soleil Paramour and rushed up there with my dad in order to attend (we live about a 2 hour drive away). And then when I was at the show I won tickets to In Transit and If I Forget! Unfortunately I couldn't attend either of those since I brought my dad and he didn't want to stay much longer. I probably would've been tempted to stay for one of those if I went up with a friend.

It was a great experience and amazing seats for the price (right orch row J)! I'm still holding out for Hamilton though

Won Cats two weeks ago- Front Mezz. Seemed like literally 40 people around us had also won lotto that day.

Won Dear Evan Hansen the first week of February. Seat was row AA 9. Horrible seat. You miss Evan on the ground right before, "You Will be Found" amongst many other things. Also you will leave with a neck cramp. Happy I got to go just to 'be there' but not ideal.
